Yay--that's my accomplishment for the summer. The End. ;) J/K--Someone told me I should post, so here goes... (insert stream of consciousness here.......)
I did give blood, at my internship; it worked a lot better than when I tried to do it at PHC and they told me my arm was going to fall off. The internship is really fun--I am busy almost all the time, and get to do some pretty cool things. Today we had a 5-hour presentation from the county's Crime Scene Investigator and saw all kinds of pictures of dead people and decomposing people and people with lots of bullet holes in them and people with lots of knife wounds in them and suicides and homicides and double murders and everything. So yeah--I don't think I'm going to do that when I grow up. :P But I work from 8 to 5 everyday, and have to drive an hour each way, so that is why I haven't posted, or done much on Facebook, or been on gtalk much. :( But I do really miss everybody. And we are getting infested with animals at home. After all my railing against cats at school, we now have 20 at our house. Yes, we had 5, then they all had kittens. Which are actually much cuter and harder to dislike than full-grown cats. And we know have about 20 chickens, too, along with a mean rooster. (He bit Ryan on the face.) Mom wanted them, and our friends that have them are now traveling around the Southeast singing, so we now have chickens, too. Last Sunday was patriotic Sunday at our church, so we had a bunch of really neat things going on. The last thing in the service was a drama, performed by almost the entire Sosebee family. It was to a cool song called "What Did He Die For?" and it talked about a soldier (Ben) dying for his country and Jesus (me) dying for all of us. It was really good and everyone was crying by the end, when Dad picked up Ben to carry him out and 'God' picked up me to carry me out, and they met and went out of the sanctuary together. I think Mom and Katie Anna cried the most, even though they were in the drama. I'm going to K and E's wedding in a couple of weeks! (And I think I'm going to get to go to P and C's too!) Yay! So--the reason I haven't gotten to talk to people much is because I'm kinda insanely busy. But I really love all ya'll and miss ya'll lots and lots. I've decided summer should be done about now, so I can see my peoples again. :( That's about it. Love ya'll. |
